Hamas regrets Israeli PM's visit to Bahrain

“Hamas” expressed its regret “for Bahrain to receive Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who is responsible and his government for the policies of collective punishment and the crimes of displacement, settlement and racism committed against the Palestinian people.”

Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum stressed that visits by Israeli leaders to some capitals are rejected and will not give Tel Aviv legitimacy and will not bring good to the region.

Commenting on Israeli occupation premier Naftali Bennet's visit to Bahrain, Barhoum stated the following:

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas expresses deep regret over Bahrain receiving Israeli occupation premier Naftali Bennet, whose government is responsible for the collective punishment policies, displacement, colonial settlement construction, and racism which are being committed against the Palestinian people in occupied Al-Quds, the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood, Nablus, Jenin, and the besieged Gaza Strip.

The visits by Israeli occupation leaders to Arab and Muslim capitals will not grant the Israeli occupation legitimacy, provide a cover for its crimes, terrorism, and racism, or bring security and stability to the region and the Arab and Muslim nations, who are still suffering from the Zionist settler-colonial project.

As we hail the stances taken by the Bahraini people against normalisation and in support of Palestinian rights and the Palestinian cause, we reiterate our rejection to all forms of normalisation and call on all Arab states that have normalised ties with the Israeli occupation to backtrack on this wrongful course.
