Iranian official:
International Quds Day to be held this year

It is planned to hold the International Quds Day with the presence of the people, and we expect the media to pay more attention to this issue due to the two-year break in the commemoration of the International Quds Day because of the pandemic, General Ramezan Sharif said.
Qodsna (Tehran) - The coordination meeting of the International Quds Day was held on Saturday at the office of the Islamic Development Organization in Tehran with the attendance of senior media representatives and pro-Palestinian activists.
At the beginning of the meeting, General Ramezan Sharif, the head of the Quds and Intifada Coordination Council of the Islamic Development Council, emphasized: "This year, at the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, we are witnessing special and unprecedented events in the Palestinian scene.”
While the International Quds Day was held with some limitations because of the ongoing pandemic, he stressed that the International Quds Day will be held this year in Iran on April 29.
General Sharif called on media groups in Iran and across the region to cover different aspects of the Palestinian resistance, “as the media has a heavy burden to reflect the courage and heroic operations of the Palestinians.”
