Palestinians have no choice but resistance against Zionist regime

Tehran (Qodsna) - A meeting on the latest situation of the resistance of the Palestinian people was held on Thursday in Tehran with the presence of prominent Palestinian figures.

Dr. Khalil al-Hayat, a prominent leader of the Palestinian Hamas Movement, Osama Hamdan, a senior representative of the Hamas movement in Lebanon, and Khaled Qudumi, a representative of the Hamas movement in Tehran were among the participants of the meeting.

Khalil al-Hayat gave a speech during the meeting, saying that “the Zionists plans to eliminate the Palestinian cause among Islamic nations. Three decades have passed since the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) negotiations, but to date they have not reached a conclusion. In this political path, the aim was to kill the spirit of resistance in Palestinians.”

“The Palestinian Authority has become ally of the Zionists and threw Palestinian fighters into the PA prisons,” he added.

The Hamas official stressed that “corruption is rampant in the PA and Palestinians hate it. Its supporters are the ones who benefit from it. In the latest news, the Zionist regime has announced that it will not allow the PA to be overthrown.”

“The majority of Palestinians have come to the conclusion that the obstacle to democracy and their freedom is the PA and Mahmoud Abbas. Last year, we were supposed to hold general elections, but 20 days before the elections, they canceled it. But the resistance provided a platform for the Palestinian people to achieve their rights. The resistance movement continues to its path with all its facilities and power. We see that the dynamism of the people has also grown. The majority of people have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to resist. The Zionist attempt to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque is one of the factors intensifying the resistance,” Dr. Khalil al-Hayat said.
