Dissolution of Knesset
consequence of resistance

Palestinian experts

Qodsna (Tehran) - Palestinian experts argue that the dissolution of the Knesset has many reasons, however, the main reason for the existence of chaos and confusion in the successive governments of the Zionist regime is the Palestinian resistance groups.

Palestinian experts argue that the dissolution of the Knesset has many apparent and hidden reasons, among which they have pointed to political parties divisions and disunity within the Zionist society, and personal quarrels among Zionist leaders as well. However, the main reason for the existence of chaos and confusion in the successive governments of the Zionist regime is the Palestinian resistance groups.

In the first step towards the fifth snap parliamentary elections in less than four years, the Knesset of the Zionist regime once again faced the vote of the majority of representatives for dissolution. The elections expected to be held next October, and it shows that the political structure of the Zionist regime is closer than ever to collapse from within.

Speaking to Quds News Agency, Iyad Joudeh, a Palestinian political expert said that “the dissolution of the Knesset has only one reason, and that is to block the way for Netanyahu and to prevent him from replacing the ruling coalition led by Bennett and Lapid. During the past few days, Netanyahu had tried extensively to prevent the dissolution of the Knesset, he believes that according to the polls, the results of the elections were not in his favor and he will not be able to form a government.”

“Netanyahu put himself on fire to bring members of the Yamina party headed by Bennett to face his government with failure, then he proposed the idea of changing the government so that after the collapse of the coalition of Bennett and Lapid, he himself became the prime minister and headed take over the government. But Lapid and Bennett pledged not to allow Netanyahu to return to power, and for this reason, the only solution from their point of view was to go to the Knesset and request its dissolution,” Joudeh added.

The Palestinian political expert highlighted that the biggest challenge in the Israeli political scene is that each of the two camps (Netanyahu's camp and the camp of his opponents) can win more than 61 seats, because otherwise, the Israeli political system will once again have to hold another election.

Another Palestinian political expert, Hatam Al Eyleh told Qods News Agency that “Parties divisions and disunity within the Zionist community and personal quarrels among the Zionist leaders” are other important factors that have caused current political deadlock in the Zionist regime.

“However, the main reason for the existence of chaos and confusion in the successive governments of the Zionist regime is the Palestinian resistance groups,” he stressed.

“The leaders of the Zionist regime consider security a strategic issue in their political approach towards the nations and countries of the region, because a Zionist principle says that the existence of the Jewish state is under constant threat, and accordingly, security is at the top of the list of domestic and foreign political priorities,” he said, reffering to the threats posed by the Palestinian resistance groups.

“The ability of the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip in developing its facilities and capabilities and the recent missile tests are among the threats facing the political system of the Israeli regime, and all these factors have an impact on the Zionist society at all levels,” Hatam Al Eyleh added.

The Palestinian expert also emphasized that the resistance axis is able to create chaos and confusion in the political and party scene of the Zionist regime.
