Kuwait launches urgent relief campaign for Palestine

The spokesman of the ministry of social affairs, Ahmad al-Anzi, underlined that the launch of the relief campaign came in execution of the orders of minister of social affairs, family and childhood affairs, Sheikh Firas Al-Sabah.

Al-Anzi said in a press statement that charitable organizations wishing to participate in the campaign should obtain prior approval through a program affiliated with the administration of the charitable organizations.

Earlier on Saturday, dozens of Kuwaitis rallied in the Al-Erada Square in front of the National Assembly in support of the Palestinian people who launched the Al-Aqsa Flood battle in response to the Israeli crimes.

In his speech at the rally, the Kuwaiti MP Hamad al-Matar affirmed the Kuwaiti people’s support for the Palestinian people and expressed pride in the Palestinian resistance.

He addressed a message to the Palestinian people expressing confidence in their victory and reaffirming the Kuwaiti people and government’s support in all fields.
