In interview with Qodsna:
Canadian author says Iran’s measured response to Israel lauded worldwide

A Canadian journalist and author referred to the Zionist regime’s airstrike on Iranian consulate in Syria, arguing that the regime tried to push Iran into starting a war, but Tehran showed a measured response, which was admired by people around the world.
Tehran, Qodsna - Eric Walberg said in an interview with the Qods News Agency: “Of course, the best solution would have been for the UNSC to pass a resolution condemning Israel's attack on Iranian property and enforcing a boycott of Israeli arms sales and purchases. This would soon have brought Israel to its knees without any risk of starting a world war. But of course, the US would have vetoed that, so no action was taken. Iran was forced to attack Israel in reply.”
The analyst pointed to the Zionist regime’s plots in this respect, noting: “Israel warned the world and asked the Arab countries to respect it. Israel's intent was to push Iran into starting a real war with Israel, but Iran wisely refrained from killing any Israelis.”
He further mentioned reactions by the West and the world public opinion on Iran’s response to the Zionist regime’s airstrike, saying: “Of course, the West condemned Iran, but no one was fooled by this theatre. Iran's measured response was admired around the world and raised Iran's respect among all good people.”
Walberg also condemned regional allies of the Western powers and the Zionist regime, saying: “The Arab states Jordan, Saudi and the UAE obediently allowed US and Israel to use their territories to defend against Iran's attack on Israel. US-occupied Iraq was forced to allow its territory to be used, but is trying to expel US forces and bases. We see the sides of Good and Evil been drawn up.”
