In interview with Qodsna:
American author says Gaza war highlights Western hypocrisy, Palestinian resilience

An American-Palestinian journalist and author has said that some Western states claim that they suspended arms exports to the Zionist regime, but facts on the ground prove their hypocrisy when it comes to human rights.
Tehran, Qodsna - Ramzy Baroud told the Qods News Agency in an exclusive interview that the ongoing Zionist assault on Gaza has taken a devastating toll on the Palestinian people, with women and children making up over 70% of the victims, and that despite some western countries announcing suspensions of arms exports to Israel, in reality these shipments continue, revealing the hypocrisy of their professed commitments to human rights and democracy.
The analyst said, the events in Palestine starting on October 7 have surprised many, but attentive observers were not surprised, as Palestinian resistance groups had been openly warning of impending action against the Zionist occupation.
He further noted, despite the Zionist regime's military superiority, the Palestinian people's determination to resist and fight for their freedom has proven resilient in the face of the ongoing violence and destruction.
Baroud went on to say, despite Israel's military superiority, ranked 17th globally, Gaza's resilience and the growing international condemnation of the Zionist regime's actions have undermined Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's efforts to maintain control and reshape the region according to his ambitions.
