Hamas welcomes 3 European states’ recognition of Palestinian state
The Palestinian Resistance Movement, Hamas, has welcomed a decision by Norway, Ireland and Spain, who are scheduled to recognize the independent Palestinian state and its UN membership simultaneously on Wednesday.
Tehran, Qodsna - According to Al Jazeera TV network, Hamas issued a statement underlining that this decision is an important step in proving the authenticity of the Palestinian nation in their own homeland.
Hamas urged other nations to recognize the national rights of the Palestinians and support their fight for liberation, independence and the end of occupation.
In response to the three European states’ decision, the Israeli regime’s Foreign Miniter Israel Katz got angry and claimed that this move is considered as support for terrorism.
The Zionist official said that the decision would weaken the occupying regime, and enhance the Palestinian resistance and Iran.
In a harsh reaction, the Tel Aviv regime recalled its ambassadors from Ireland and Norway over the recognition of an independent Palestinian state.
The TV7 of the Israeli regime reported that the Israeli foreign minister summoned his envoys from the two European countries for consultations on Wednesday.
