American pundit in interview with Qodsna:

Reforming int’l community to help put pressure on Israel to stop anti-Palestine crimes

Kevin Barrett told Qodsna that the change of the international community will help freedom-seekers put pressure on the Zionist regime to halt the ethnic cleansing in Palestine.

Tehran, Qodsna - Kevin Barrett, Islamic scholar and former American academic, said in an exclusive interview with the Qods News Agency that reforming the United Nations and eliminating the UN Security Council can pave the way for the policy shift towards the Zionist regime, which would enhance the Palestinian cause.

Asked about the international community’s assistance to pave the way for Palestinian people to get rid of the Israeli occupation, the expert said:

“The majority of the international community supports Palestine. Since 1948, the United Nations has been demanding that Israel allows Palestinian ethnic cleansing victims to return to their homes, with compensation. And since 1967, the United Nations has been demanding that the Zionists withdraw from the land they stole in their Naksa war of aggression.

Today, international institutions like the ICC and the ICJ, as well as the UN itself, continue their long history of ineffectual resistance against Zionist genocide. The ICJ’s decision to launch a genocide prosecution against Israel, and the ICC’s arrest warrants for Israeli leaders, increase the pressure on the Zionists, but like earlier efforts by the so-called international community they have not been able to fundamentally alter the situation.

So parallel to those efforts, we need to change the international community and its institutions so that they will be able to effectively stop Zionist genocide. The first task is to insist that the current world order and the institutions that enshrine it are outdated and unacceptable. The world of 2025 should not be run by the victors of 1945. We need a fundamental reset that acknowledges the currently emerging multipolar world order, and definitively removes the US from its fantasy role as unipolar global hegemon. Only after the old, fake “international community” is retired can a new, genuine international community emerge, complete with institutions that can force the Zionists to accept Palestinians’ right of return, return to pre-1967 borders, and equal rights for everyone in historic Palestine.

Since the Zionists will fight tooth and nail to prevent these changes, there is a necessary military dimension to the balance-of-power shift that will produce them. Indeed, defeating the Zionists may be the key to enshrining the new, multipolar world order. The Palestinians and their supporters will need to work with emerging multipolar powers, including Russia and China, to obtain the military technologies necessary to convince the Zionists that their position is untenable. The ensuing collapse of Zionism will be the strongest possible demonstration that the West no longer rules the world unilaterally. After putting Zionism to bed, the world should consider moving the United Nations to liberated Jerusalem al-Quds, and eliminating or reforming the Security Council.”
