Academics slam Hiroshima over inviting Zionist officials

A recent decision by Hiroshima to invite the Zionist regime’s officials to its nuclear bombing anniversary has sparked significant controversy.
Tehran, Qodsna - Richard Falk, a scholar from Princeton University, expressed his dismay, stating that it is very unfortunate that Hiroshima does not grasp the fact it was victimized in a way the Palestinian people have been victimized by Israel.
While Nagasaki opted not to extend an invitation to the regime, Hiroshima's local administration faced backlash for what many see as a double standard.
Saul Takahashi, a professor of human rights and peace studies, highlighted the outrage, questioning how a regime accused of genocide could be welcomed at such a solemn event.
This decision has ignited protests and discussions across Japan, with many activists urging Hiroshima to reconsider its invitation to Tel Aviv.
