Hamas calls for increased Palestinian presence at Aqsa mosque

The Hamas Movement called on the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank, including Al-Quds, and the 1948-occupied territories, to intensify their presence at Aqsa Mosque and confront the settler Judaization attempts.
Earlier Monday, dozens of far-right Israeli settlers stormed the Aqsa Mosque compound in Occupied Al-Quds to perform religious rites.
The Movement said the storming of the compound and conducting tours was a “renewed violation of the sanctity of the mosque”.
“We call on our steadfast Palestinian people to intensify their presence at Aqsa Mosque and confront the settlers’ attempts to impose a Judaization reality on it. Escalating clashes with the occupation army and its terrorist settlers, in defense of our land, our holy sites, and our national cause,” Hamas said.
The Movement also called on Arab and Islamic countries to pressure Israel into stopping its “crimes” against Palestinians and to protect Aqsa Mosque, the third-holiest site in Islam.
