A British author in an interview with Qodsna:

Israel committing genocide, supported by US, UK governments

Prof. Rodney Shakespeare told Qodsna that Israel is intent on removing all people from Gaza and to do so, it is committing genocide which is supported by the USA and UK governments.

Tehran (Qodsna)- Rodney Shakespeare made the remarks in an exclusive interview with the Qods News Agency.

The interview comes as follows:

Qodsna: As you know, Zionist regime resumed its relentless bombing of Gaza and has shattered the Gaza ceasefire with Hamas adopted on 19 January. Israel has resumed weaponising starvation in Gaza by its decision to break the ceasefire agreement. Israel has broken international law by blocking aid to Gaza. What’s your opinion? What should we do to stop the Israeli crimes against Palestinians?

Shakespeare: Israel is intent on removing all people from Gaza.  To do so, it is committing genocide which is supported by the USA and UK governments.  Genocide is genocide and we must say so until a sufficient number of people wake up to the nasty reality and then exhibit the courage to force political change.

Qodsna: Ansarullah said that Yemen will not back down from continuing its support operations for the Palestinian people until the Israeli aggression on Gaza stops and the siege is lifted. Ansarullah officials affirmed that Yemen's stance on Palestine stems from religious, national, and moral principles. Ansarullah vowed to continue their military operations against Israel and US forces in the region. How do you evaluate the Yemeni people and Ansarullah stance in support of innocent Palestinian people.

The Middle East Arab regimes exhibit an astounding combination of hypocrisy and gutlessness.  There is, however, an exception --   Ansarullah in Yemen.  Yemen is desperately poor and was bombed by Saudi Arabia and now by the West.  The Yemenis have more courage in their little fingers than the leaders of the West will ever have.

Qodsna: Israel is coming under increasing international criticism over its handling of the war in Gaza. Millions of people around the world have taken part in protests against Israel’s war crimes. Protesters voiced outrage over what they described as war crimes committed by Israel in the besieged Gaza Strip and demanded immediate international action. What’s your opinion that Israel is becoming more and more isolated due to its genocide?

Shakespeare: It is not a war -- it is a genocide particularly of woman and children.  Zionists’ crimes against Palestinian people hurt every decent person.
