Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad express solidarity with Iran after deadly port explosion

Resistance movements Hezbollah, Hamas, and Islamic Jihad have expressed their solidarity with the people of Iran over the massive explosion that occurred at Shahid Rajaee Port in Bandar Abbas.
The Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas on Saturday expressed its condolences to the families of the victims of the explosion and its solidarity with the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
“We express our full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership, government, and people, following the unfortunate explosion that occurred at Shahid Rajaee Port in Bandar Abbas,” Hamas said.
“We offer our sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the families of the victims, asking God to have mercy on them and grant the injured a speedy recovery.”
“We affirm our complete confidence in the Islamic Republic’s ability to overcome the repercussions of this painful incident and continue its path of construction and progress,” Hamas added.
The Islamic Jihad also expressed its condolences to the leadership and people of Iran and hoped for a quick recovery of the injured.
“The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine extends its sincerest feelings of solidarity and sympathy to our brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran, both its leadership and its people, following the painful explosion that occurred yesterday, Saturday, at the Martyr Rajaee Port in Bandar Abbas, resulting in a number of martyrs and wounded,” the statement said.
“We offer our heartfelt condolences to the leadership of the Iranian people and to the families of the martyrs, asking Allah Almighty to envelop them in His vast mercy and to grant the injured a speedy recovery.”
“We also express our confidence that Iran, with its wise leadership and steadfast people, is capable of overcoming this ordeal, by the will of Allah,” it continued.
Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement also issued a statement expressing sympathy with the Iranian nation and government.
"We extend our deepest condolences for the tragic incident at Shahid Rajaei Port in Bandar Abbas, Iran," the statement read.
"We are confident that the Islamic Republic will overcome this painful event and continue its progress, resilience, and support for the causes of the nation,” it added.
Iranian officials, emergency services, health departments, and crisis management teams are trying to ensure that victims and their families receive the necessary care and that potentially affected facilities are secured and rehabilitated.
Authorities have further reassured the public that an in-depth investigation is underway to establish the cause of the explosion and prevent its recurrence.
