Hamas: Jenin operation is the strongest response to Israeli attempts to suppress resistance

In a press statement, Hamas affirmed that the operation constitutes a clear response to the occupation’s ongoing attempts to extinguish the flame of resistance in the West Bank, representing yet another blow to plans for annexation and displacement targeting the Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank, and Occupied Al-Quds.

Hamas stressed that the resistance will not cease to target the occupation across every inch of Palestinian land, so long as aggression, massacres, terror, siege, and abuse against the Palestinian people continue.

The Movement called on the masses in the West Bank to escalate all forms of resistance, intensify painful operations deep inside the occupation, and unite and close ranks behind the option of resisting the occupation until its defeat and removal from Palestinian land and holy sites.

The statement came in the wake of two separate shooting and ramming operations, which resulted in the injury of an Israeli trooper and four settlers on Wednesday afternoon in Jenin and al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank.

This coincided with the Zionist regime’s army committing yet another bloody massacre in the Gaza Strip, targeting a restaurant and a popular market simultaneously in the Al-Rimal area in western Gaza City, resulting in the martyrdom of approximately 39 Palestinians and injuring dozens more, including children and women.
