Zionist army assassinates journalist Hasan Eslih in Gaza
The Zionist regime’s occupation army assassinated Palestinian journalist Hasan Eslih at dawn Tuesday after targeting him while he was receiving treatment in the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, south of Gaza.
According to local sources, an Israeli drone directly targeted the journalist as he was still receiving medical assistance in the burns unit at the hospital, killing him and wounding others.
Journalist Eslih suffered injuries on April 7 when a Zionist regime’s warplane bombed a tent sheltering journalists near the Nasser Hospital. The strike killed journalist Helmi al-Fuqawi and a young man called Yusuf al-Khazindar and injured other journalists.
At the time, the Israeli army had admitted that its airstrike was intended to kill journalist Hasan Eslih, who suffered an amputation of two fingers on his right hand and a head injury.
