Annapolis meeting designed to salvage Israel - Kuwaiti official
Member of Kuwait's national assembly warned that any Arab presence in the US-called autumn meeting in Annapolis will translate into salvaging Israel from its current desperate position.
Walid al-Tabatabai was speaking to Qodsna on the sidelines of the second general assembly of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) Tuesday.
He said no talks with Israel would yield result as long as the regime keeps a siege on Gaza and brands the area as hostile in defiance of international conventions.
Deputy Head of the Kuwaiti delegation to the general assembly invited the Arab and Islamic countries to press Israel to bow to the international conventions.
