Palestinians march against Annapolis confab

Tens of thousands of Palestinians marched in Gaza and West Bank against the Annapolis confab, chanting anti-Zionist and pro-resistance slogans.

A Palestinian Legislative Council member from Hamas party Change and Reform, Khalil Al-Hayya, said America and Zionist regime are attempting to take advantage of the dire conditions that the Palestinians are enduring, in order to gain concessions during the confab.

Al-Hayya was speaking during a rally in Khan Younis which he described as "the first public poll against the Annapolis conference and other projects aimed at destroying the Palestinian question."

"The autumn conference will fail to achieve benefits for the Palestinian people, yet it might promote Israeli and US goals," he said.

"Oh brothers, we know and watch what happens to you. Oh female students affiliated to Hamas in the West Bank universities, we say to you that the night time of tyranny is interim and we pin great hopes on God as we count on your tolerance and steadfastness," he urged the Palestinians.

"We are determined to pray in the Al-Aqsa mosque. We have not authorized, nor shall we authorize, anyone to give up on a single particle of Palestinian soil. Israel is an aggressive state which we will not ever recognize," he added.
