Zionist teachers strike enter day 46
Zionist Regime's Secondary School Teachers Association strike entered day 46 on Sunday. The National Labor Court will decide on Sunday whether or not to order teachers to return to work.
Teachers and Finance Ministry officials recently submitted their positions to the court in an attempt to reach a compromise. While the Finance Ministry has agreed to give teachers a raise in exchange for two or three extra hours of work each week, the ministry has not agreed to teachers demands that class size be reduced.
Teachers and their supporters began a campaign shortly afterwards pushing to reduce class size. Supporters hung fliers in major cities with slogans including, 120 Members of Knesset sit in luxurious offices and are trying to force 40 children back into a crowded classroom.
