Islamic Jihad: No Ceasefire

Senior Islamic Jihad member spoke to Arab media on Monday, rejecting claims that the group had considered a “hudna,” or temporary ceasefire, with Zionist regime.  Some media sources had claimed that Islamic Jihad and other resistance groups were meeting in Damascus to discuss the possibility of a ceasefire, including an end to rocket attacks on Israeli towns.

“It is impossible to talk about a hudna in the shadow of Israeli threats to reconquer Gaza,” said senior activist Ziad Nahala.

Islamic resistance movement, Hamas denied reports of a ceasefire offer as well.
