2 more patients die under Israeli siege
A Palestinian woman and a child lost their lives on Saturday night after the Zionist militants refused to let them go out of the Gaza Strip for medications following an illegal 6 month restriction on innocent Palestinian civilians residing in Gaza, Xinhua reported on Sunday.
Nadieh Abu Zuhri, a 51 year old lady and the mother of the spokesman for the Gaza-based Palestinian government (Hamas) who was residing in Rafah south of Gaza and a 6 year old boy named Mohammad Ata'ollah died last night as their sickness worsened and were blocked by the Zionist militants from being taken out of the restricted Gaza Strip for medical treatments.
The Palestinian Health Ministry warned that at least 450 Palestinians afflicted with cancer, 400 with kidney problems and 450 with heart problems in the Gaza Strip are in critical conditions due to lack of drugs and medical equipment.
The Health Ministry added that despite the patients' grave conditions, the Zionist militants do not let them go out of Gaza for medical treatments.
The Palestinian government reminded that each month, at least 600 to 700 patients require medications out of Gaza. 250 to 300 patients need emergency treatments.
