IRI Foreign Ministry Spokesman: Regional nations have no faith in US mediation

 
IRI's Foreign Ministry Spokesman denounced American President's proposal of compensation for Palestinian refuges as contradicting the Palestinian cause.

Sayyed Mohammad-Ali Hosseini told Qodsna in his weekly press conference Sunday that George Bush's proposal that the Palestinian refugees be accommodated in other Arab countries runs counter to the Palestinian aspirations and removes and that it only removes the very problem and does not help resolve it.
 
"The Palestinian refugees issue is of significance for all the Palestinian groups and they have upheld the issue at various occasions," he added.

Hosseini also recalled the popular demonstrations in the regional countries against Bush's trip, adding that these protests have always been there because the regional countries have no faith in the US mediation for the Palestinian issue.

"They believe that America and Israel are in the same front against the Palestinian nation and other regional nations," he added.
