Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas announced earlier Sunday night that Chief Palestinian negotiator Ahmed Quriea and Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Levni would meet in Beit Ul Moqaddas to start talks on permanent status issues.
The meeting between Livni and Qureia in Beit Ul Moqaddas has ended after two and-a-half hours, during which the two discussed the core issues, among other subjects.
The leaders agreed to meet again soon, and to keep negotiations away from the spotlights.
Abbas named the permanent status issues as: Beit Ul Moqaddas, borders, Zionists' settlements, Palestinian refugees, water and security, adding "all issues have to be discussed and negotiated together at the same time."

"Hamas movement considers such a meeting and all other similar meetings multiply a coverage for the Israeli occupation to carry on with its crimes committed against our people," said Abu Zuhri.
He called on Quriea and Abbas "to immediately stop trading without people's rights and blood and stop such useless meetings with the enemy."
