In Palestine however the day is of one more use that is to raise awareness about a continued and creeping Israeli seizure of the Palestinian land in the West Bank and east of al-Quds. The Israeli seizure expands like cancer with the Zionist regime devouring the Palestinian land like a big monster.\r\n\r\n\tIsrael has growingly expelled Palestinians from their land so that at present, Palestinians are in the control of only 13 percent of the al-Quds city area that accounts for 1.2 percent of the West Bank while Israel currently controls 87 percent of the eastern part of the occupied city, having over 200 thousand Israeli settlers there. The occupied are is the one that Palestinians seek to be the capital of their future state.\r\n\r\n\tIsrael is going to expand the number of settlers there to half a million and the number is expected to rise even further after the implementation of a so-called "larger Jerusalem" plan under which another 10 percent of the West Bank will be occupied. The plan will also lead to bisection of Palestinian lands into separate swathes of land similar to separate municipal centers.\r\n\r\n\tIsraeli bulldozers continue to dig the ground across the Palestinian land or demolish olive gardens for more settlements. At the same time, its heavy machinery keeps excavation under the al-Quds city day and night. Israelis claim to be seeking remains of ancient Jewish temples through the digging operation. But they are actually present their expansionist move as a religious campaign. At present, over 70 extremist Jewish groups are frantically digging under the al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied city. They seem to be acting on behalf of the Zionist regime in a premeditated project.\r\n\r\n\tThere are threats facing the remaining Palestinian land that are more dangerous than poisonous gases that endanger the Earth. The occupation is an example. There is a global consensus for countering the environmental threat.
