\r\n\tTen cellular telephones including some belonging to senior commanders of the Israel Navy’s Shayetet 13 commando unit have been stolen while the officers were attending a classified briefing.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tIn line with protocol, cell phones are not permitted in classified briefings to prevent recording or eavesdropping on conversations.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tWhen the officers exited the meeting, they discovered someone had made off with their phones.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tAccording to the Ynet report, military police are involved due to fears about the phones' content which may be classified information and numbers.<\/p>\r\n
