\r\n\tA senior Iranian lawmaker says the Islamic Revolution of Iran reversed the trend of failures of Arab armies in the face of the Zionist regime and imbued the regional freedom-seeking movements with a new spirit.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tMember of the parliamentary committee in national security and foreign policy, Mohammad Hasan Asafari was speaking to the Qods News Agency in Tehran on the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the landmark revolution that is set to be marked on February 11.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tThe lawmaker noted that the Islamic Republic's Constitution requires support to freedom-seeking movements and underprivileged people worldwide, adding that the constitutional principle encouraged the regional nations to believe that the Islamic Republic truly backs any oppressed people.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tThe parliament member also said the 1979 revolution opened a new horizon before the eyes of the Palestinian nation.<\/p>\r\n
