\r\n\tA member of Dawa party in Iraq says the popular resistance group, Hashd al-Shabi was developed under a Fitwa by the Iraqi grand scholar, Ayatollah Ali Sistani to counter the ISIS scourge in the country.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tSayyed Ali Ala’aq told the Qods News Agency (Qodsna) that the group had turned into a sub-unit of the Iraqi army and will follow the central government’s directives.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tAsked whether the group may engage in anti-Israeli campaigns after purging the ISIS terrorists, the politician was positive.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\tAla’aq said the Hashd al-Shabi considers Israel as enemy number one of Islam and was ready to engage in any military campaign against it.<\/p>\r\n
\r\n\t“The force will strive to help liberate the Palestinian lands,” he said.
