They include a police officer, a petrol station owner and a butcher.\r\n Last month saw the arrest of former brigadier general Adib al-Aalam, his wife Hayat Saloumi and nephew Joseph Aalam on suspicion of spying for Israel for more than 15 years.\r\n Aalam ran a housekeeping service in Beirut that was used as a front.\r\n A Hezbollah official from south Lebanon on Monday said the Shii party was cooperating with the authorities on dismantling the spy networks.\r\n "Hezbollah has uncovered many Israeli spy rings and is cooperating completely with all official security services," Nabil Qawuk told AFP on Monday.\r\n A number of those currently in custody were first detained by Hezbollah which then handed them over to the authorities.
