They also tried to draw the Muslim community away from the mainstream Arab population. Ataturk approach nevertheless failed and the Turkish population is returning to origins seventy years later and a similar return is seemingly in the making in Tunisia after 54 years of boycott.\r\nBin Ali has managed to keep his grip on Tunisia using the support of France, the US, Israel and Libya and his power waned after the four sources of support suffered major internal problems.\r\nThe question now is how other Arab states are similar to Tunisia. The answer is no other Arab country has endured an Ataturk like boycott. However, they are similar to Tunisia in that they suffer puppet regimes. Tunisian uprising therefore has kept its specter over other Arab states.\r\nThough the Tunisian developments may not be an infection to spread quickly to other Arab states however if the intafada attains its Islamic goals, a countdown would begin for other Arab states and a new stage would start for their populations.","content_html":"
