Israel has resumed weaponizing starvation in Gaza by its decision to break the ceasefire agreement. Israel has broken international law by blocking aid to Gaza. What’s your opinion? What should we do to stop the Israeli crimes against Palestinians?  How can the international community help Palestinians get rid of the Israeli occupation?\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nFra Hughes: What we are sadly witnessing today is a continuation of the Nakba from 1948 a continuation of the official Zionist colonial policy of replacement through displacement. A reoccurring nightmare for the indigenous people of Palestine. A 17th century colonial occupation mindset using 21st century armaments.\r\n\r\nIf we look to North America, Canada, New Zealand, Latin America, Africa and Australia we can see that white European Christian imperialism underscores the ravages of nations, indigenous peoples, land and race.\r\n\r\nThe thirsts for gold, tea, coffee, rice, potatoes, minerals, precious stones, slave labour, exploitation of the other, money, greed, avarice and above all white supremacism is at the root of many of the wars of conquest and destruction over the last 500 years and more. Indeed my own country of Ireland was subjected to 800 years of military occupation and partial colonization by British and to this day a portion of the North east of Ireland remains in British hands.\r\n\r\nThe object of desire for Zionism is the total occupation of Palestine but they won’t stop there the greater "Eretz Israel"" vision is to occupy all of Lebanon and Jordan alongside parts of Iraq, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.\r\n\r\nWhile elected government have a mandate for 5 years in power the Zionist project now over 120 years in the making will continues for many decades more to achieve its dream of dominance in West Asia and the subjugation of everyone in the Levant.\r\n\r\nThe Zionist fascist regime is using the concept of total war. Ansarullah officials affirmed that Yemen's stance on Palestine stems from religious, national, and moral principles. Ansarullah vowed to continue their military operations against Israel and US forces in the region. How do you evaluate the Yemeni people and Ansarullah stance in support of innocent Palestinian people.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nFra Hughes: The only shining beacon in a world which is increasingly living in the dark shadow of imperialist wars is Yemen.\r\n\r\nGenocide is defined as "acts committed with the intent to destroy in whole or in part a national, ethnical, racial or religious group", the partial or total eradication of a people" which is exactly what the Zionist supremacist state is doing in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon and Syria.\r\n\r\nThere is a moral and legal imperative on individuals, organization and states to prevent genocide.\r\n\r\nThe Yemeni people and the Ansarullah government are adhering to that premise. They are abiding by international law in accordance with the "Fourth Geneva Convention" to prevent this "Holocaust" from continuing to save innocent life and hold the thugs involved to account.\r\n\r\nMeanwhile Netanyahu walks freely around the capitals of Europe immune from being detained under the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court for "crimes against humanity" , as the west ignores its responsibility to end the slaughter in Gaza which they are financing and arming, Israeli fascists continue to commit these heinous crimes , it is only the proud people of Yemen with humanity ,love ,understanding and faith who are trying to prevent these monsters in charge in occupied Palestine  from being rearmed and resupplied.\r\n\r\nAs a person who has travelled in the Levant, I understand the deep abhorrence "Shia" Muslims have for the adherents of oppression. What’s your opinion that Israel is becoming more and more isolated due to its genocide?\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nFra Hughes: I travelled to Gaza in 2010, after a 33 day sojourn through Europe and Syria to deliver a 13 seater wheel chair accessible mini bus to Al Awda hospital.\r\n\r\nI have been on many marches and protests after the war on Gaza 2008\/2009\r\n\r\nEvery war on Gaza led to mass protests in Ireland and around the world. Once the bombs stop dropping people retreated back into their complacent lives thinking they had played their part in ending the destructive violence visited the people of Gaza.\r\n\r\n18 months of marching from October 2023 have not saved one life in Gaza. If 2 million who protested Tony Blair's governments plan to invade Iraq cannot elicit change then there truly is no hope.\r\n\r\nIsrael has shown to the world its murderous face after the events of October 7 2023.\r\n\r\nThe west has been exposed like at no other time in its history, as the lying, cheating, capitalist whores that they are.\r\n\r\nThe power the Israeli lobbies have over western politicians is unbridled and unchallenged, be it through money, blackmail, ideological alignment or the threat to position and power or by being targeted for political assassination via the main stream media as in the case of Jeremy Corbyn an adherent for peace in west Asia and the right of Palestinian sovereignty, the best Prime Minister Britain never had.
