Bush wrapped up his Middle East visit later this week. \r\n \r\nHamas on Saturday announced that its security forces had thwarted an attempt to assassinate Haniya. \r\n \r\nIhab Ghissin, a spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of Interior, said a man carrying a bag containing a four-kilogram TNT explosive device was arrested during a rally attended by Haniya and other Hamas leaders. \r\n \r\nThe rally was held in Gaza City to honor Palestinian Hajj pilgrims upon their return, he said.","content_html":"
