Al-Aqsa Mosque

More than 700 Israeli settlers forced their way into the flashpoint Al-Aqsa Mosque complex in occupied East Al-Quds on Thursday, according to a Palestinian agency, and Anadolu News Agency reports.

Hamas says Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip will only strengthen the resolve of the resistance movement to support and defend fellow Palestinians in occupied al-Quds against the regime’s acts of aggression.

Masjid (Mosque) Al-Aqsa has been in danger since the Israeli Occupation of East Al-Quds began in 1967. Since the occupation, the Israeli authorities have allowed Israeli extremists to intimidate and violate the sanctity of Masjid Al-Aqsa. However, in the past decade, the attacks on Masjid Al-Aqsa have been directed by the Israeli political elites.

Palestinian Islamic resistance movement, Hamas has once again emerged as a major player in events taking place in Al-Quds and the West Bank, Israeli daily Jerusalem Post reported.
