Tens of thousands of Palestinian worshipers performed Friday prayer in the Aqsa Mosque despite the Israeli restrictions imposed at the gates and entrances of the Old City of Occupied Al-Quds.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation said on Tuesday that Zionist regime’s aggressive violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque provoke Muslims around the world. The comment about "dangerous violations" was made during the 18th Extraordinary Online Session of the OIC's Council of Foreign Ministers.

Dozens of Jewish settlers stormed the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Al-Quds, via the Maghariba Gate, under heavy police protection on Tuesday morning.

Preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque Sheikh Ekrima Sabri asserted that Muslims refuse the burning of any holy book and consider that justifying such action as being a matter of freedom of opinion by Western countries, such as Sweden and Denmark, is "unacceptable and unconvincing."

More than 45,000 Palestinian worshipers attended the Friday prayer at the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Al-Quds, despite the tight Zionist regime’s restrictions.

The spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry has condemned in the strongest terms the intrusion into the sacred al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the Old City of al-Quds by far-right Israeli minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and settlers.
