Member of Hamas’s political bureau Maher Salah has strongly denounced the Israeli occupation police for allowing Jewish settlers to raise an Israeli flag at the Aqsa Mosque and perform prostrations in its courtyards.

Palestinian resistance factions have warned the occupying Zionist regime against “playing with fire” after Israeli forces broke into a prayer area in the al-Aqsa Mosque compound, saying such moves represent a failed attempt to change the Islamic identity of the holy city of al-Quds.

The Palestinian Islamic Jihad resistance movement has condemned Zionist troops for breaking into a prayer area along the eastern wall of the al-Aqsa Mosque compound, reaffirming the Palestinian nation’s readiness to defend their sanctities against the Zionist regime’s violations.

Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem has said that the Eid al-Fitr holiday this year has a special significance following the battle that the Palestinians fought during the holy month of Ramadan in different arenas against the Israeli religious war on the Aqsa Mosque.

More than four million Palestinian worshippers visited the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Al-Quds during the holy month of Ramadan despite the Israeli restrictions imposed on them. 

Foreign ministers of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) states, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq issued a statement on Friday night emphasizing the centrality and priority of the Palestinian cause.

This year, the last Friday in the holy month of Ramadan marks the anniversary of International Quds Day to remind the world of their responsibility towards Al-Quds and the Al-Aqsa Mosque that faces continued Israeli violations.

Zionist troops have stormed two of the gates to the holy al-Aqsa Mosque on the eve of the International al-Quds Day amid heightened security measures.

In the holy month of Ramadan, a campaign entitled "Our Iftar Will Be in Al-Quds" has been organized in Palestine Square located in downtown Tehran.

The Islamic Christian Authority for Patronizing Al-Quds and Holy Sites has condemned the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) for revoking hundreds of permits previously issued to Christian citizens from the Gaza Strip for their entry to Al-Quds to perform Easter holiday rituals.

The Hamas Movement has called on the Palestinian citizens to intensify their presence at the Al-Aqsa Mosque to protect it against the Zionist regime’s desecration. 

The Zionist regime’s government decided on Tuesday to stop Jewish settlers' incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque till the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
