The Zionist regime’s military puts a Palestinian refugee camp and a nearby town in the central part of the Tel Aviv-occupied West Bank under lockdown as part of a hunt for the suspect of an earlier shooting incident that killed an Israeli trooper.

Palestinian resistance movements have said that armed retaliatory operations will continue unabated and will repeatedly target the Zionist regime’s security apparatus.

One Palestinian was killed and six others suffered bullet injuries on Saturday morning after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank and encircled a house.

Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad resistance movement Ziyad al-Nakhalah says Palestinians are creating new equations in the face of Israel, stressing that residents of the besieged Gaza Strip will spare no effort to fight off the Tel Aviv regime’s Judaization efforts in the occupied East al-Quds and West Bank.

More than 900 Palestinian captives, held in Ofer prison, declared on Thursday a one-day hunger strike in solidarity with the 30 administrative detainees who have been on hunger strike for the 12th day.

Gunshots were fired Monday evening at Zionist troops stationed in the northern West Bank, the regime's military said.

A spokesman for the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has said that shooting operations in various parts of the West Bank are a response to Israeli settlers’ incursions into the al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

On the 22nd anniversary of Al-Aqsa Intifada, Hamas Movement renewed on Wednesday its adherence to resistance option till restoring all Palestinian people's legitimate rights.

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said that the Western Wall tunnel uprising emphasized that Al-Quds is the core of the freedom struggle against the Israeli occupation and stressed Palestinians will continue defending it until liberation.

Palestinians have expressed outrage over reports that British Prime Minister Liz Truss is considering relocating the UK embassy in Tel Aviv to the occupied holy city of al-Quds in a controversial decision that would follow in former US president Donald Trump’s footsteps.
