Hamas says a recent landslide student election win by its candidates at a top West Bank university points to ever-growing support for the popular resistance in the occupied Palestinian territory.

“We consider the liberation of Holy Quds and the liberation of the oppressed and defenseless nation of Palestine from the domination of the occupying Zionist regime and the effort to eradicate Israel's cancerous tumor as the lofty ideal of the Islamic world,” according to the resolution.

President Ebrahim Raeisi hails the regional resistance axis for keeping the occupying Zionist regime of Israel’s aggression at bay.

"We see that the dynamism of the people has also grown. The majority of people have come to the conclusion that we have no choice but to resist. The Zionist attempt to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque is one of the factors intensifying the resistance,” Dr. Khalil al-Hayat said.
