Hamas: Statements by Israeli army minister are admission of ethnic cleansing

The Hamas Movement has affirmed that the recent remarks by Zionist regime’s army minister Yisrael Katz regarding the military operation in Gaza City, which aims to forcibly displace its population using overwhelming firepower, constitute a clear admission of a crime that amounts to ethnic cleansing and forced displacement of nearly one million residents.
In a press release issued on Friday evening, Hamas said that Gaza City has been subjected to systematic destruction and horrific, ongoing massacres against innocent civilians for several days due to intense aerial and artillery bombardment of residential neighborhoods.
The Movement stressed that the humanitarian situation in Gaza is deteriorating rapidly due to the blockade, the use of starvation as a weapon, and the intensified targeting by Israeli forces of health, humanitarian, and relief centers, along with the destruction of vital infrastructure.
Hamas condemned the global silence in the face of these blatant war crimes and acts of genocide, crimes that are being carried out openly and even publicly acknowledged by Zionist leaders. It also denounced the failure of the international legal and moral system, established by the global community, to deter these crimes or hold their perpetrators accountable.
The Movement called on the international community to amplify its solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza and to intensify pressure to stop the aggression, genocide, and forced displacement that Israel has been committing for over 22 months.
