Hamas slams Trump’s recent remarks on Gaza, Zionist captives

The Hamas Movement has condemned US president Donald Trump’s recent remarks about Zionist captives as a “blatant bias in favor of the Zionist propaganda” and a “stark reflection of double standards.”
In a statement on Tuesday, Hamas said that Trump ignored in his remarks the Zionist regime’s crimes of ethnic cleansing and the genocide that have claimed the lives of over 65,000 innocent civilians, mostly women and children, in the Gaza Strip.
“The US administration is fully aware that war criminal Netanyahu is actively sabotaging all prospects for reaching an agreement that would lead to the release of prisoners and end the brutal genocidal war on the Gaza Strip. The latest example of this is the criminal attack on the State of Qatar and the attempted assassination of the negotiation delegation during discussions over Trump’s latest proposal,” Hamas said.
“The fate of Israeli captive soldiers in the Gaza Strip is determined by the government of terrorist Netanyahu,” Hamas underlined, warning that the systematic destruction and fascist genocidal campaign in Gaza City put the lives of the captives at severe risk.
The Movement held Netanyahu fully responsible for the fate of his captive soldiers in Gaza and accused the US administration of being directly involved in Israel’s brutal war of extermination in the Strip.
Last night, Trump claimed that he had read a news report saying that Hamas had moved the Zionist captives above ground “to use them as human shields” during the Israeli military operation in Gaza City, calling such a step a humanitarian crime, while ignoring the horrific and unprecedented daily atrocities in Gaza committed by the Israeli occupation regime with full US support.
