Iraq’s Kataib Hezbollah urges resistance fighters to support Iran

Alsumaria News TV reported that Kataib Hezbollah Secretary-General Abu Hussein al-Humaidawi issued a statement on Sunday urging Islamic resistance fighters across the world to be ready for a broad confrontation in defense of Iran.

Al-Humaidawi said Iran represents a central pillar of the Muslim world and has, for more than four decades, supported oppressed peoples and Islamic causes without regard to sect, ethnicity, or nationality.

He noted that the Israeli regime and its allies are seeking to pressure and potentially destroy Iran, amid their attempt to undermine moral and humanitarian values.

Emphasizing the role of the axis of resistance, al-Humaidawi said backing Iran is a necessity and cautioned that any military action against the country would not be easy. He warned that Iran’s enemies would face severe consequences and instability across the region.

The statement also urged supporters to prepare on the ground, framing the outcome as either victory or martyrdom, particularly if religious authorities were to declare jihad (war).

Last week, Kataib Hezbollah’s leader similarly warned the United States that war with Iran would not be a game, but a fire that would damage American interests. He reit
