Abu Obeida praises al-Khalil attack, calls for Palestinian uprising against Israeli occupation
Abu Obeida, spokesperson for Hamas’s armed wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, praised a shooting attack near al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank on Friday and called for intensified Palestinian popular mobilization against the Zionist regime’s occupation.
In a press statement, Abu Obeida described the attack as a “heroic operation” and urged Palestinians to rise up against the occupation, confront ongoing Israeli military operations in the West Bank and its refugee camps, defend Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestinian prisoners, and support the people of Gaza.
He linked the confrontation in the West Bank to the humanitarian and military situation in Gaza, stressing the importance of continued public action in solidarity with Palestinians facing the consequences of the Israeli genocidal war and severe humanitarian conditions.
Two Zionist troops killed and four others were wounded in a shooting attack near al-Khalil in the southern West Bank on Friday.
