Attacks on schools are an assault on children, UN experts said Tuesday, condemning the latest attacks on UNRWA schools in Gaza and the storming and forcible closure of UN schools in Al-Quds by the Zionist regime’s occupation forces.

The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor reported on Tuesday that 26 Palestinians, including 9 children, have martyred in Gaza within the past 24 hours due to starvation and lack of medical care, warning that the death toll is rising at an alarming rate.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has praised the late President Ebrahim Raeisi’s dedication to serving the nation, saying that the martyr chief executive considered himself to be in the same rank as that of the people, and even in a lower position.
